Saturday Morning Zamboni Ride

Rangers 3, Capitals 1

Scott Gomez scored his first goal as a Ranger and Jaromir Jagr had three helpers to lead the Rangers to the victory. All the goals were scored in the first period as both teams took the second and third off to go to TGI Friday's for some mudslides. It was the first loss of the season for the Capitals, but they didn't mind because they, "Hadn't had a Bahama Mama in forevers!"
Canucks 5, Oilers 2

Ooh, this was a good one! Not only did Sheldon Souray score giving me the opportunity to post a picture of his smoking hot wife, but Roberto Luongo kind of looks like a French version of Borat, but more sex-crazed. He stopped 28 of 30 shots for the win.

Blackhawks 3, Red Wings 2

Nikolai Khambibulin had 32 saves and didn't give up a goal after the first period. Robert "Clubber" Lang scored the game-winner in the third. To celebrate he tea-bagged an octopus.

Blues 4, Avalanche 1

It was Colorado that had the "blues" after this one. (That line can't be topped, so I'll move on.)

Flames 3, Stars 2, OT

Matthew Lombardi scored twice - including the GW in overtime. Miikka Kiprusof made 24 saves all while looking really fucking crazy. Maybe it's the beard. I mean, if it were just a mustache, he'd look kind of goofy. But that beard and those haunting eyes - sccccccaaaarry!

Bruins 8, Kings 6

Phil Kessel had his first career hat trick and an assist. Marc Savard scored the GAGW to go along with 3 helpers. It was a good day for all the Bruins. Even Manny Fernandez, the world's most notorious Mexican goalie enjoyed the game despite giving up 6 goals. Proving what I said earlier this week that generally speaking, 8 goals is enough to do it in the NHL.
