The Zamboni Ride Is Neither Old, New, Borrowed, or Blue

Thrashers 3, Panthers 2, OT

Ilya Kovalchuk scored the game winning goal just 27 seconds into Overtime to push the Thrashers over the Panthers. After a horrendous start ATL has won some number of games in a certain amount of time. The bigger issue here is, can I talk Lauren into a cake shaped like Pro Player Stadium?

Blues 4, Red Wings 3

St Louis scored all 4 goals in the second period as Manny Legace stopped 26 shots. David Perron scored twice which earned him the praise from his father that he has wanted his entire life, but until last night – never gotten.

Canadiens 4, Maple Leafs 3, OT

For now, French will remain the number one language in Canada. Meanwhile, whatever they speak in Toronto – Spanish? – will be known as “gibberish” until these two teams meet again. Rookie Carey Price stopped 37 shots, many of which were meant to be stopped by someone much older.

Flames 3, Wild 2

Mikka Kiprusoff was released from a Canadian institution long enough to stop 26 shots and wrestle a bear. Kristian Huselius scored the game winning goal and then won 200 dollars when Kiprusoff pinned the bear in under 3 minutes.

Ducks 4, Kings 3, SO

In the battle of California the Anaheim Mighty Ducks were victorious. Less victorious were the Los Angeles Kings who lost the game. Ryan Getzlaf scored a goal and added an assist for the losing Kings. The real shame is that Getzlaf missed his calling in life as a stand-up comedian.

As a sports fan trying to get into hockey, CRM should be a staple on the Versus network.

Agreed. I would love to see a CRM vs. Dennis Miller debate about hockey. The only problem with MIller is he talks more about just hockey. Well, at least I think he does. If CRM would get back to covering sports, as opposed to simply hockey, I would be much more impressed. There is a reason no one writes, talks, reads, or watches anything hockey-related. This blog is one of them

Yo Ron,

Last I checked, there wasn't a "The Blog to impress Ron Killings" title underneath the CRM header. Who the fuck are you to tell people how to run their blogs? And if noone follows anything hockey, then why the hell are you reading this blog and commenting? Get back to your ESPN homepage, dick.

I was just making an observation. No need to become so defensive man. Get off you Zamboni and come down to reality: If ESPN doesn't cover it, then it's not worth the time.

Not really, but thanks to this blog (and my fantasy hockey league) I have became somewhat interested in hockey.

In the meantime, I am in the process of hacking CRM's blog so I can change the header to "The Blog to Impress Ron Killings."

Maybe I should start my own blog, but I don't have any friends so I don't think people would read it anyways.
