Sound familiar?
Yup, that's Green Day. While they're working on the follow up to American Idiot they found time to cut an album under a different name: Foxboro Hot Tubs.
So strange.
Arguably the biggest band in the world after Idiot came out they posted 6 songs online for free download back in December - which I completely missed. Then they did it again earlier this year and I missed that too. I blame the shitty radio stations in Albany. Seriously - How the hell do you miss this if you work in the industry?
Of course these are the same stations ignoring Weezer's latest offering, so why should I be surprised? We need room in the rotation for Three Days Grace after all. And you have to play Buckcherry's most annoying song since Crazy Bitch once an hour or someone might change the channel. (Remember when Buckcherry was kind of cool? What? That was in high school? Never mind.)
Where was I? Oh yeah, Foxboro Hot Tubs. It's like a punk rock version of the Beatles. Sorry if I offended any Beatles fans. Enjoy the Green Day Foxboro Hot Tubs.
