On Saturday, July 19th at 9pm, SpikeTV will broadcast UFC Fight Night 14. The fight will be shown live, from The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas. Oh yeah...
... I just found out this afternoon, that I'll be in attendance. That's right - I'm going to Las Vegas.
It will be my first ever trip to Vegas. Hell, it'll be the first time in my life that I go West of Michigan.
I sure hope my flight has a stop-over in Idaho. I want to see all the sites. I mean, I've been a huge fan of potatoes my entire life. Baked. Mashed. You name the pota... Wait a second...
What am I talking about? UFC! Las Vegas! Vegas, baby! Please send money for me to gamble away! Unlike TBL I'm not too proud to take a handout. Now if someone would just explain to me how PayPal works...
I'll be releasing more details as I learn them.
Three things I do know at this point in time:
1. I'll be staying somewhere in this area.
2. I'll be seeing a current UFC Title Holder making his debut in a new weight class.
3. I'll be posting sporadically the entire weekend. Of course, I have no idea what sporadically means. Is a single post with a picture of me outside the hotel and the words "Holy shit, this is awesome!" considered sporadic?
Hopefully, my trip doesn't end up like this.

I am soo jealous and soo happy for you all at once!
Enjoy the hell out of Vegas. It's a blast! BTW, hit up the buffet at the Flamingo. Sooo tasty. Unfortunately I ate about 8x more than I should have there and then had to walk the strip to get back to the room. I was sure I would die about 2 minutes after I walked out the door.

That's awesome. Have fun. I've never been to Vegas either...so I'll live vicariously through you.
I try to go at least once a year. Remember, the girls in the pamphlets and cards that they hand out on the street, AREN'T the same ones that will show up at your door at 4:43am after 13 Jack and Cokes, 17 beers, and 4 glasses of Cognac.
Avoid any blackjack dealer named Teflon. I was too drunk to notice his name tag when they rotated him on one night and he robbed me blind.
