2008 Bejing Ol-Chimp-ic Closing Ceremonies

What an eventful 36 days of events that was! We have some new national heroes and for that, we can all be thankful. Unfortunately, we also got to know some naughty little monkeys who have become infamous of the last month.These two were a real disappointment. On the left we see the the disgraced boxing chimp who was disqualified for the use of banned amphetamines.

The Judo-Weightlifting chimp was also tested positive for an illegal PED. He would have been the first Ol-Chimp-ian to medal in two sports.

Then there was the disappointment on the basketball court. The gold medal favorites in basketball experienced an embarrassing loss to the Puerto Rican chimps. You could tell they were only interested in selling shoes.

Not all of the Ol-Chimp-ians let our country down though. Unquestionably, the feel-good story of the entire Ol-Chimp-ics took place in the pool.
